Why am I listed as a co-founder? All I wanted was to join the group, nothing more.
That's what I thought too when I joined. I was automatically a co-founder when I joined so I just ignored. 
Yes, it is rather weird. And now I sometimes get random messages that has peoples' art attached and asks me whether or not I want to include it in the group's folder. I may just quit the group and call it a day, as I see some others have.
